41,000 Early Filers for Tax Year 2021 Paid To Date
Hagåtña, Guam – On June 16, 2022, the Department of Revenue & Taxation processed and the Department of Administration mailed checks, or paid by direct deposit, approximately 1,227 Tax Year 2021 and prior income tax refunds totaling $ 3,409,384.83 for error-free returns filed on, or before, April 17, 2022.
Of $152.8 million refunds paid to date, approximately $129 million (84%) were paid to some 41,000 early filers who filed on, or before, April 17, 2022. Refund payments continue to be processed weekly and consistent to a 6-8 week turnaround time.
NOTE: Individuals receiving payment by direct deposit will see a $0 transaction in their bank account prior to receiving their refunds ( -note).
