Governor Calvo writes to Speaker BJ Cruz regarding Bill 339, which was discussed and passed by the Legislature last week – without a public hearing – a standard the Legislature enforced when denying the Governor’s proposals to address the General Fund shortfall caused by federal tax laws. The Governor calls for the Legislature to work with the Administration to fix the flaws in the Fiscal Year 2019 budget law.
