A man accused of sexually assaulting two minors will be moved from the Department of Corrections into the custody of federal immigrations.
Richiosi Rudolph was found guilty on two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony. He was sentenced to 12 years, with credit for time served, for each count to be served concurrently. He was scheduled to be released in 2019.

It costs an average of $119 a day or about $43,435 a year to house each inmate and detainee at the Department of Corrections. The federal government takes on these costs when custody is transferred.
