Acting Governor Ray Tenorio has ordered flags on Guam be flown at half-staff in honor of the victims of an attack that killed 84 people and injured many more in Nice, France. The order follows a proclamation by President Obama, “Honoring the Victims of the Attack in Nice, France.”

The Acting Governor is asking the people of Guam to keep the victims of the attack, those whose lives were taken and those who were injured, in their thoughts and prayers.

“We are once again watching tragedy strike our brothers and sisters in France. It is frustrating to see such hate, anger and fear reach out to attack innocent people, families, children, mothers and fathers,” he stated. “This isn’t the first time the people of France have had to suffer through pain of loss. I call on the people of Guam to join the Governor, First Lady and myself in prayer.”
