Governor Eddie Baza Calvo received the letter of resignation from Judge James Canto yesterday.
“James has served the people of Guam well in his public service and I wish him luck in his future endeavors,” Governor Calvo said.
On July 2011, the Governor nominated him to become a Superior Court Judge. His nomination was confirmed on September 19, 2011, by the 31st Guam Legislature, and he was sworn in as a member of the Judiciary of Guam on October 5, 2011.
