(Hagåtña) – Holding true to form, Senator Frank B. Aguon, Jr spoke unclearly today on where he stands in addressing a major fiscal crisis before the people people of Guam. On one end he said he supports government employees, but on the other end, he continues to take the road of politics and does not want to raise revenue. Aguon offers no solutions for thousands of government employees and their families.

Senator Aguon hid behind a law on tax increases, that several Attorney Generals have said is inorganic.

“Leaders running for the highest office of the land must make tough decisions,” Governor Eddie Baza Calvo said, “they cannot speak on both sides of their mouths to make everyone happy, or they risk upsetting everyone. Now is the time for leadership, not politics,” Calvo Said.
