TROPICAL STORM 09W UPDATES: Shelter transportation available at mayor’s offices, hospital suspends all out-patient services and elective surgeries

SHELTER TRANSPORTATION
Busses have been dispatched to mayor’s offices to begin transporting residents seeking shelter at designated school shelters. School shelters and mayor’s offices contact numbers are listed at the bottom of this release.
HOSPITAL
Guam Memorial Hospital reminds residents that out-patient services and elective surgeries have been suspended. The Emergency Operations Center is looking at whether GMH should move up the time it stated this morning that it will begin accepting pregnant mothers close to birth.
Residents and visitors are advised to stay tuned for weather updates, news reports and social media posts for any important updates regarding Tropical Storm 09W.
