The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority updated Governor Eddie Calvo and Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio on the Central Police Precinct in Sinajana this morning. Having the additional construction workers on island is helping with the construction progress. We hope to have the new precinct completed by December so that our amazing men and women of the Guam Police Department have a modernized facility for their jobs. This Sinajana precinct covers approximately 10,000 square feet set to include separate juvenile and adult holding cells, training facilities, a Commander’s office, briefing and interview rooms, a mountain bike patrol center and other features.

“This Administration will work until its very last day to make good on the promises we made to the people — and that includes a new Central Precinct for the island. I am proud of the progress made here in Sinajana, and look forward to seeing this building completed so that our police officers have a facility that suits their growing needs,” said Governor Calvo.

“Whether it was getting police officers the pay they were promised but never received, or ensuring they had functioning vehicles or modernized equipment, this administration continues to support our police officers and ensuring they have the tools they need to do the job,” added Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio.
