$156.3 Million (78%) of Refunds Paid were for Tax Year 2021
Hagåtña, Guam – On September 23, 2022, the Department of Revenue & Taxation processed and the Department of Administration mailed checks, or paid by direct deposit the last batch of refund payments for FY 2022 totaling $873,022.07 for 253 Tax Year 2021 and prior error-free returns filed on, or before, September 11, 2022.
Total refunds paid in Fiscal Year 2022 is $201.5 million, of which $188.5 million (94%) were Individual Tax refunds and $13.0 million (6%) were Corporate Tax refunds.
Of 62,170 Individual and Corporate Tax refunds processed and paid in Fiscal Year 2022, 61,826 (99%) were paid to Individual Tax filers and 344 (1%) were paid to Corporate Tax filers.
Refund payments continue to be processed weekly and within TWO WEEKS of filing.
