$25K Donated to Help Japan
First Lady, Private Sector Team Up to Help Tsunami Victims

First Lady Christine Calvo coordinated a $25,000 donation from Calvo’s Insurance Underwriters to the American Red Cross.  The contribution was presented this afternoon, as part of the government-wide efforts to help the victims and families affected by the recent earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan.
“Guam’s generosity cannot be matched,” First Lady Calvo said.  “It really touches my heart to see everyone’s love and support.  I know this money will make a huge difference to the people in Japan who need help.”
