Today, Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Insular Affairs Tony Babauta presented the grant award. The money will be used for:

  • $2.5 million for renovations to the Port Authority of Guam’s Gregorio D. Perez Marina
  • $1,372,000 for renovations to the University of Guam’s Field House
  • $934,000 for rehabilitations to the Guam Waterworks Authority’s Asan Spring Facility
  • $935,052 for the Department of Revenue and Taxation to purchase and install an IBM I Series Power 7 Server

“This money will benefit the fishermen, businesses, and families who use the marina in HagÃ¥tña, and the students who use the UOG Field House every single day.
