24,000 Early Filers for Tax Year 2021 Paid To Date
Hagåtña, Guam – On April 22, 2022, the Department of Revenue & Taxation processed and the Department of Administration mailed checks, or paid by direct deposit, approximately 3,136 Tax Year 2021 and prior income tax refunds totaling $9,832,434 for error-free returns filed on or before March 2, 2022.
Of the nearly $100 million tax refunds paid to date, some $75 million were paid to early filers for Tax Year 2021 as efforts continue to close the turnaround time for payments.
NOTE: Individuals receiving payment by direct deposit will see a $0 transaction in their bank account prior to receiving their refunds (pre-note).
