Hafa Adai!
Governor Eddie Baza Calvo will launch a brand-new initiative tomorrow called the “My Village Project.”  Each month, the administration will shine the spotlight on a different village and direct much-needed help to where residents need it most.  Outreach events will be planned in partnership with each Mayor’s office to address the different needs every village has.  They can be as simple as a cleanup at a park, or as comprehensive as a week-long program that will bring government services directly to your door.
Yona, the gateway to the south, was chosen as the first village to participate in this campaign.
Village leaders, including Mayor Ken Joe Ada, will join Governor Calvo at tomorrow’s proclamation signing.  The “My Village Project” launch will begin at 2 p.m., in front of St. Francis Church.
