Statement from First Lady Christine Calvo on the first day of school: It’s a beautiful day to begin classes! I want to wish all of our students success on the upcoming school year, and I would also like to congratulate Superintendent Jon Fernandez in making free breakfast and lunch to all of our Guam Department of Education students a reality. In doing so, he is ensuring nutrition for our children and addressing childhood hunger. Great job to Jon and all of the great staff at GDOE and welcome back to school everyone! |
