Governor grateful for new leaders commitment to fight poverty and build for the future

Governor Eddie Baza Calvo administered the oath of office to the administration’s newest cabinet members, thanking them for answering the call to help the government fight poverty and build for the future.
 
The Guam Legislature recently confirmed the following appointments:
 
            ·  Alfredo Antolin:              Director of the Agency for Human Resource Development
·  George Santos:             Director of the Department of Labor
·  Monte Mafnas:            Director of the Department of Land Management
“Building for the future by strengthening the workforce and managing land resources will make this community stronger,” Governor Calvo said.  “I’ve chosen these people because of their experience, institutional knowledge and commitment to excellence.”
 
The new directors took their oath of office in the Cabinet Conference Room of the Ricardo J. Bordallo Governor’s Complex at Adelup today with Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz, Minority Leader Senator Frank Blas, Jr., and Senators Tony Ada, Chris Duenas and Sam Mabini along with Philippine Consul General Bayani Mangibin.
