Attached is Executive Order No. 2013-005, which the Governor signed moments ago. He ordered the Director of Administration to pay:
– The balance owed to former employees of the line agencies and for DOE employees for merit bonuses
– The balance owed to GMH employees for increments earned during the period of the increment freeze
– The balance owed to line agency employees and DOE employees for promised compensation and for civil service- and court ordered-legal claims
The Executive Order also notifies the Legislature of his intention to incrementally phase-in the Hay Plan during Fiscal Year 2014 using the revenues that would have been set aside in the two-percent reserve.
