Hagåtña, Guam – The Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA) is set to launch its Qualifying Certificates Community Contribution Grant Program Series 7, offering a significant opportunity for non-profit organizations and Government of Guam departments or agencies to secure vital funding for community-focused initiatives. The program will provide grant funding of up to $25,000 per award toward eligible projects and programs. The grant application period opens on October 28, 2024, and closes on November 19, 2024, at 5 p.m.  

Since its inception in November 2019, the Community Contribution Grant Program has substantially impacted Guam’s community development, with 106 grants awarded totaling $1,861,130.00. Eligible projects should align with one of the following five categories: Healthcare, Public Safety, Economic Development, and Higher Education and Cultural Preservation. 

“We are excited to announce the opening of GEDA’s 2025 Community Contribution Grant program, which empowers our local community partners to make a positive impact,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “These grants are a great example of how government agencies and nonprofit partners are working together to enhance the quality of life on Guam.”
