Guam Entrepreneurship Month Highlights Resources for New, Existing Businesses

Hagåtña, Guam – Governor Lou Leon Guerrero hosted a proclamation signing and awards ceremony on October 26, 2022, to celebrate Guam Entrepreneurship Month and the recipients of the Guam Economic Development Authority’s Growth Accelerator Program (GAP). The Guam Unique Merchandise & Arts (GUMA) used GAP funds to accelerate the incubation and expansion of new and existing start-up businesses that graduated from its training programs.

“Entrepreneurs are the backbone of Guam’s economy — creating new jobs, providing fresh and innovative products, and filling in the gaps in services that improve the quality of life for our residents and raise the economic prosperity of our island,” said Governor Leon Guerrero. “Our Administration is committed to supporting the growth of all entrepreneurs and small business owners. We encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue their passions and dreams on Guam.”
