Hagåtña, Guam — The 2024 Governor’s Christmas Parade is set to bring holiday cheer and island pride to the heart of Hagåtña on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Skinner Plaza. This year’s theme, “The Colors of Christmas,” promises a vibrant celebration of the season, highlighting the diversity that makes Guam unique.

Since its debut in 2022, the Governor’s Christmas Parade has grown into a signature event of the Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration, becoming a cherished tradition for families and the community. The event complements the annual Christmas light display at Skinner Plaza, offering an unforgettable evening filled with festive sights, sounds, and the spirit of giving.

The festivities kick off at 6 p.m., with the parade set to begin at 7 p.m. Alongside floats from Government of Guam agencies, the public is encouraged to participate by entering their own creative floats or hosting a booth.

“Christmas is a time to come together as a community, and this parade is a testament to our island’s unity, creativity, and festive spirit,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “We invite everyone to join us as we light up the capital city with the joy and beauty of the season.”

Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio added, “This event is a reflection of the warmth and generosity of our people. ‘The Colors of Christmas’ reminds us of the diverse traditions and vibrant cultures that make our island so special. We’re excited to celebrate with our community and welcome everyone to participate.”
