FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 10, 2012
Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio’s Islandwide Beautification Task Force, with help from members of the community, continued Phase II restoration work at the Archbishop Flores Memorial yesterday. The IBTF started Phase II of restoration work last month as part of the Archbishop Flores Memorial Restoration Project.
The group of volunteers water-blasted the outer circle, the sidewalks, and stairs of the memorial. This phase will continue until the memorial is entirely cleaned, water-blasted, and ready for phase III, which will begin at the end of March.
“Thanks to all of our volunteers and donors who continue to help us in this endeavor,” said Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio. “This wouldn’t be possible without them and their dedication to the beautification of this memorial and the community.”
