The situation on Guam at this time is not serious, according to preliminary information.
There are no tsunami warnings or watches at this time.
There are no reported power outages.
We are awaiting information from Guam Waterworks Authority on water leaks as a result of the earthquake. There are no reported water outages.
There are no reports of injuries related to the earthquake at this time.
Guam Memorial Hospital is reporting no injuries or damage at this time. Naval Hospital reports the same.
The airport’s runway is fine. The seaport is reporting no damage that can be seen at this time.
GTA is experiencing some land-line, cellular and internet service issues that the company is fixing. We do not know about any of the other cell phone carriers. Off-island loved ones trying to call relatives and friends on Guam should not be alarmed if they are not able to go through.
