10,235 Households and Individuals Approved for Prugråman Salåppe’ Relief

Hagåtña, Guam – The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration announces more application approvals and payments processed through Prugråman Salåppe’ Ayudon I Taotao.

“Today, our Administration is processing and delivering a total of $3,070,500 in direct cash assistance to 10,235 households and individuals through Prugråman Salåppe’,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “This public assistance program is closing soon on Sunday, May 22, 2022, so we urge working families to apply for relief now. Together, we are on the path to recovery.”

“As of May 18, 2022, we have received a total of 20,117 applications, of which 12,516 applications have been reviewed. The dedicated people at DOA continue working diligently to process more payments,” said Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio. “With the approaching deadline, we remind people in need of the expanded eligibility. Visit doa.guam.gov to apply today!”

DOA advises that incomplete applications including those missing required documents and identification may result in the unanticipated delay of approval and payment. The program continues to accept missing supporting documents for pending applications. Prugråman Salåppe’ staff are processing applications as quickly as possible and contacting applicants to address incomplete submissions and further their processing status. 

On April 20, 2022, Governor Leon Guerrero signed Executive Order 2022-12 extending Prugråman Salåppe’ from April 22, 2022, to May 22, 2022. Households and individuals are encouraged to apply online at doa.guam.gov. Applications are also available at the Prugråman Salåppe’ office on the 2nd floor of the ITC Building, Suite 215. Applications with supporting documents attached may be submitted via email to PSP@doa.guam.gov.
