Hagåtña, Guam – The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration is proud to offer incentives for individuals 12 years of age and older who maintain their COVID-19 vaccinations. Starting Tuesday, May 31, 2022, while supplies last, eligible residents may choose between IP&E gift certificates for $25 gas at Shell Gas Stations OR $25 at Shell Foody’s Guam stores (alcohol and tobacco items excluded). Gift certificates will only be offered at vaccination clinics at the Northern and Southern Region Community Health Centers, the Agana Shopping Center, and senior citizen outreach clinics. This incentive program is 100% federally funded.

“Our local public health has worked closely with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on this approved incentive initiative which comes at a critical time in our economic recovery. In order to bring tourists back to enjoy our island, we must remain a safe destination, and we do this by maintaining high vaccination rates,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “Our administration looks forward to distributing gas cards and gift certificates to our residents who keep updated with their COVID-19 shots. Through this program, we encourage those who delayed completing their primary series or booster dose to take the time to do so and reap the benefits of maximum protection from the virus. With the summer months upon us and travel restrictions lifted for most destinations, now is the time to ensure you and your family are fully immunized and protected from severe illness and hospitalization. Please get fully vaccinated and boosted and continue to protect the progress we’ve made battling this pandemic.”

“While all restrictions have been lifted, we cannot forget the mitigation efforts that have helped us return to normalcy, most especially the COVID-19 vaccine,” said Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio. “With the rising cost of fuel, these incentives will bring more than just direct relief at the pump but also bring our people out to our vaccination clinics, located in northern, central, and southern Guam.”
