Hagåtña, Guam – The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration is proud to announce free employment training available through Job Readiness Workshops on June 21 and 28, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the Third Floor of the American Job Center in the GCIC Building of Hagåtña. The workshops are limited to 35 participants per day and are provided in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Guam Chapter.

“With careful planning and strategic investments, we are seeing more businesses opening up and more job opportunities becoming available to those working toward a better life,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “Our island is welcoming steady economic growth, and by strengthening our workforce, we will uplift the quality of life for us all and secure our continued progress.”

“For the first time in 15 years, our Administration is taking action to provide training for the unemployed and underemployed to refine their skills and pursue greater opportunities–and this is just one of the many actions we are taking to spur job growth,” said Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio. “Even if you’ve been employed before or are currently employed, you can still receive training to further your career goals. We encourage interested participants to reserve their workshop seat today by calling the American Job Center at 671-475-7000/7001.”
