Hagåtña, Guam – Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio joined the Talo’fo’fo’ community this week to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Talo’fo’fo’ playground. The joyous occasion was marked by the excitement of Talo’fo’fo’ Elementary School’s second graders, who eagerly awaited their first chance to enjoy the colorful new slides and playset.

“This playground will serve not just the students at Talo’fo’fo’ Elementary but also the residents of the entire village, giving everyone a space to share, grow, and make lasting memories,” said Lt. Governor Tenorio. “Seeing how excited the kids are today reminds us how important it is to invest in places that bring people together and strengthen our community bonds.”

The project was made possible through a $600,000 Village Community Care Grant under Prugråman i Pinilan, a key initiative of the Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration that aims to uplift Guam’s families. The award also funded light fixtures, a tennis court renovation, a basketball court renovation, a bathroom renovation, new fencing, and bleachers. Prugraman i Pinilan is administered by the Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA) and funded through the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) ARP funds.
