Governor Calvo ordered the release of funds for the payment of the annual COLA to retirees. The release was made to the Retirement Fund yesterday and the checks should be released today.
“Times are tough, especially for people on a fixed income,” Governor Calvo said. “I hope this can help our elderly and their families, especially as the holidays approach.”
