New DPW Deputy Appointed
Governor Calvo appointed former Barrigada Mayor Jessie Palican to serve as the Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works. As the Mayor of Barrigada, Palican was instrumental in the development and completion of the Barrigada Tri-Intersection project, completed various road projects within the Barrigada municipality, and established numerous community programs engaging the youth and other community members.
Palican’s new position is effective July 1, 2013.
