DOI Awards Guam Memorial Hospital $6M in Compact Impact Funds
Governor Calvo secured $6 million for Guam Memorial Hospital from annual Compact Impact funding. At the beginning of Fiscal Year 2013, the Governor submitted his proposal of priorities for the use of the annual $16.8 million in funds. The funds have been awarded and transferred to the government of Guam by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Money Will Be Used to Pay Bills to Vendors
GMH will use part of the money to pay its vendors for supplies, medicine, and emergency operations.
