(Hagatna, Guam) Commission on Decolonization outreach advocates will be knocking on doors in Hagatna tomorrow to invite the capital’s residents to the first in a series of 108 community conversations on decolonization.

Mayor John Cruz will host his residents at a most appropriate venue for this inaugural event: Senator Angel Santos Park, popularly known as Latte Stone Park. The community conversation for Hagatna starts at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 5.

The mayor and the commission, in true Chamorro custom, are hosting the people of Hagatna with a spread of food and refreshments. The commission will provide information on decolonization and facilitate discussions among residents.

The next community conversations will take place the following Monday in Agat, where 6 community conversations will occur simultaneously throughout the municipality.
