Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio will launch the government’s new wellness program tomorrow, November 1.
SelectCare, the government’s health insurance provider, teamed up with the SDA clinic, Kontenda’s gym, Paradise Fitness Center and Synergy Studio to provide government employees this new program. Officials from these private sector partners will discuss details of the new program at a media conference tomorrow at 9 a.m. in the Cabinet Conference Room, Bordallo Governor’s Complex.
Government employees can expect more services, along with an aggressive push by these partners, to incorporate wellness initiatives, like exercise and dieting, into the overall health policy of the government.
“I urge every director and manager to encourage their employees to take advantage of this program,” Lt. Governor Tenorio said. “Healthy employees are happy employees.”
