Tourism industry keeps visitors safe

Airlines make flight changes for Monday, October 6th

As preparations for Typhoon Vongfong’s approach continues, the Joint Information Center has been working with our partners in the tourism industry to make our visitors feel comfortable and safe.
Many hotels have opened their restaurants, as well as offered translation services, movie screenings and other amenities to cater to the needs of their guests. Other hotels have also set up information desks in their lobbies to keep guests updated on the storm conditions.
 
 
AIRLINES MAKE FLIGHT CHANGES
 
The Guam International Airport Authority (GIAA) has released a list of updated flight changes for tomorrow, October 6, 2014.
 
Delta Airlines flights for Monday, October 6th:
 
Flight 617 CANCELLED
Flight 626 arrival 14:30 CANCELLED
Flight 294 arrival 14:40 CANCELLED
Flight 648 arrival 14:55 CANCELLED
United Airlines flights for Sunday, October 5th:

Flight 197 CANCELLED
Flight 200 scheduled for Monday, October 6th is scheduled to depart at 10:00 p.m. tonight.
 
Cape Air flight to Saipan CANCELLED
 
United Airlines flights for Monday, October 6th:
All flights coming to/from Guam on Monday, October 6th CANCELLED
 
Korean Airlines flights for Sunday, October 5th:
Flight 111 15 Hours Delayed
Flight 733 CANCELLED
Flight 2115 DELAYED
 
Japan Airlines Flight 941 CANCELLED
 
 
Fed-Ex Cargo has also been delayed for 24-hours. Arrival dependent on weather conditions.
