Residents up north seeking emergency shelter are advised to call mayors’ offices

Wettengel Elementary School will be opened as a typhoon shelter at 10:30 p.m. for Dededo residents seeking emergency shelter from Typhoon Vongfong. Astumbo Elementary School and Maria Ulloa Elementary School have exceeded the 50 percent capacity marker.
Gov. Eddie Calvo placed Guam in Condition of Readiness 1 and bus services to all shelters have stopped. Should you require transportation to shelters, please contact your mayor’s offices. For emergencies, please call 9-1-1.
