A statement from Governor Eddie and First Lady Christine Calvo regarding the abandoned baby found at a Dededo home today:
“It breaks our hearts that this occurred in our community but we rejoice that the baby is healthy and safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with this child. I want to assure the public that this innocent baby is in the very capable hands of the Child Protective Services unit within the Department of Public Health. They are trained to manage this type of delicate situation. We urge anyone that might have information to come forward and speak to the proper authorities.”
