Hagåtña, Guam — Acting Governor Josh Tenorio invites the community to Hagåtña on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 for the lighting of Skinner Plaza and the 4th Annual Governor’s Christmas Light Parade. The lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. will serve as the opening of the evening before the parade begins at 7 p.m.
“Lighting up our capital city and launching the holiday parade has become a signature event of our administration,” said Acting Governor Josh Tenorio. “The holiday season invites us to look forward with hope and gratitude. It is also a chance to celebrate how far we’ve come as a community, bring people together, and welcome the season with joy and optimism for the year ahead.”
This year’s parade theme, “Håfa Adai Holidays – Christmas in Paradise,” invites everyone to embrace the magic of the season in the heart of Guam’s capital city. The theme reflects island traditions, the warmth of the holidays, and the welcoming spirit that makes Christmas on Guam unique.
The 2025 Governor’s Christmas Parade will feature a wide range of Government of Guam agencies and community partners, showcasing the teamwork and service that keep Guam moving forward.
