August 31, 2017 (Hagåtña) – Governor Eddie Baza Calvo and First Lady Christine Calvo invite island residents to the Government House for a Prayer of Peace. The event is held in honor of the historic visitation of the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima to Guam.
“We are blessed to be able to host this event, which is an opportunity for our people to come together and pray for peace on our island, our nation and our world,” Governor Calvo stated.
The prayer of peace will be held from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017at the Government House in Agana Heights.
“We are inviting everyone to celebrate our faith in prayer. Our visit from Our Lady is a blessing to our beautiful island,” said First Lady Christine Calvo, who will be leading the holy rosary.
Following the visitation of Our Lady of Fatima will be scheduled Peace Masses to be held in respective villages.
