Hagåtña, Guam – The Commission on Decolonization will host its regular monthly meeting tomorrow, August 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cabinet (Large) Conference Room at the Ricardo J. Bordallo Governor’s Complex.
In light of the recent ruling from the Ninth Circuit Court, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero and Attorney General Leevin Camacho will be present to address the Commission Board and all those in attendance. The Attorney General will brief the Commission on the Ninth Circuit Court’s ruling and the Governor will comment on her position regarding the next steps for the Government of Guam.
“We are facing a pivotal moment in our quest for self determination. I encourage all stakeholders and anyone who may want to be involved or learn more about the decolonization process to attend, provide input, or, at the very least, become more educated about this issue and pay attention,” said Governor Leon Guerrero.
