Doyon Morato Appointed to Serve on GIAA Board
Hagåtna, Guam – Ms. Doyon A. Morato, a well-known businesswoman, has been appointed
by Governor Lou Leon Guerrero to serve on the Guam International Airport Authority
Board of Directors.
Morato is the current Operations Manager of North Wind Group – Silver Mountain
Construction and the Founder and CEO of Zories Only, a local apparel and greeting card
business. She is a graduate of St. John’s School and she attended Tufts University,
studying Art History/Architectural History; and as part of her undergraduate program, she
also studied at the NYU Center in Paris and the University of Paris.
“Doyon has an impressive background in business and marketing, as well as
strategic involvement in development of opportunities in the Asia market. She’s
worked closely with the Federal Government on contracting opportunities and is
active in our business community. With her experience in business development, I
look forward to her contributions to the GIAA and the community as it moves toward
expansion and improvement of services,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero.
Morato is a Founding Board Member of the Guam Women’s Chamber of Commerce and is
also a member of the Guam Chamber of Commerce, Guam Contractors Association, National
Association of Women in Construction Guam Chapter, and Society of American Military
Engineers-Guam Post. Morato is a Founding Member of the Guam Family Justice Center
Alliance.
