Guam is Now REAL ID Compliant
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 8, 2019
Hagåtña, Guam – The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration has received notice from the U.S.
Department of Homeland Security reporting Guam is in full compliance with the REAL ID Act
and regulation.
“This is great news for Guam residents. The REAL ID makes travel and access to federal
facilities more convenient. We’re very happy to garner this momentum so we can meet the
October 2020 deadline. I would also like to thank Department of Revenue and Taxation
Acting Director Dafne Shimizu for her excellent work,” said Governor Leon Guerrero.
