Hagåtña, Guam – Governor Lou Leon Guerrero and Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio invite the island community to celebrate the holiday season at the Governor’s Holiday Light Festival, which will open from December 5, 2022, to January 7, 2022, at the Skinner Plaza and Plaza de España in Hagåtña. Each location will feature festive decorations, including Christmas lights, illuminated topiaries, and holiday arches. In addition, there will be holiday music concerts, movies in the park, and performances from local entertainers. The festivities will kick off with a Christmas Lighting Ceremony on December 5, 2022, at 5 p.m. at the Guam Museum outdoor stage.

“On behalf of our Administration, we are happy to invite families, friends, and our island community to our annual Holiday Light Festival,” said Governor Leon Guerrero. “In honor of the enduring resilience and hope our people have shown, we’ve created a holiday display for everyone to enjoy.”

“This is a truly special time to spend with loved ones and make memories, and there’s no better backdrop than the heart of our island dressed in all the jolly furnishings that inspire joy,” said Lt. Governor Tenorio. “We also hope people come out to support the children’s choirs, cultural dance groups, and entertainment companies that use their talents to uplift this season of giving.”
