Guam is fine; Governor Calvo deactivates JIC
As of 6:36 p.m., emergency responders and dispatchers report no injuries related to the earthquake.
There are no reports of major damage at this time from the Emergency Operations Center.
By all accounts, Guam was not affected in a major way by this strong earthquake.
Governor Calvo has deactivated the Joint Information Center and the Emergency Operations Center. Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense maintains their standard 24-hour post watch, maintaining readiness and posture to respond to emergencies.
