Medical Campus Action Plan Available on guammedicalcampus.com

Hagåtña, Guam – The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration announced today the launch of its Medical Campus website and information hub. The Medical Campus project is rapidly evolving from a notional future project to a current, state-of-the-art quality health care and integrated services center for Guam and the region. Updates, reports, and information relative to the medical campus will be publicly available on guammedicalcampus.com, including the Medical Campus Action Plan released today.

The Medical Campus Action Plan includes project management reports, the 2019 Army Corps of Engineers reports, finance strategy, the medical Services delivery plan, legislative reports and findings, the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) needs assessments, and the Medical Campus Master Plan. The website also provides a hub for various working groups’ meeting minutes, reports, documents, and other related resources, in addition to community polls and future surveys soliciting public input and feedback on various aspects of the medical campus project.

“Moving our regional healthcare into the next era is not an overnight process. We are at the point where it is time for concepts to become concrete, and we would like the community to be fully informed along this journey,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero.

“This new medical campus website and information hub helps us to organize the various moving pieces of this project with the aim of clear, transparent plans as we move through multiple project phases. We continue to invest in strengthening our healthcare delivery system, and we are more motivated than ever to provide our people better healthcare here at home,” said Lieutenant Governor Josh Tenorio.
