NEWS: $2M in tax refunds to be mailed out

Hagåtña – The Department of Administration (DOA) is mailing out 642 tax refund checks to Guamanian families today.
“These tax refund checks are an indication of how the government continues to fulfill its obligations, provide services and live within its reduced General Fund budget,” said Governor Eddie Baza Calvo.
“Aggressive collections efforts at the Department of Revenue and Taxation (DRT), combined with the reduction of expenditures by their sister agencies, helps to make refunds a reality,” said Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio.
The checks represent about $2 million for Status A returns filed up to February 9.
