Hagatna – “I’ve been here since 1970. I could’ve been in a coma in 1970, and woke up this morning and felt like it was still 1970. We have the same issues, the same problems that we’ve dealt with then.” – Jim Gillan, Director of the Department of Public Health and Social Services

Guam Memorial Hospital has had the same problems for decades.  We can’t keep kicking the can.

“Right now, a solution for GMH can’t wait. We need to find a way to fund the operational shortfall,” Mr. Gillan said.

When you and your loved ones need our hospital services the most, you want what’s best. You don’t want outdated equipment or to hear the medicine, supplies and specialist you need to see aren’t available.

“What do you want to have waiting for you there in terms of expertise and in terms of equipment? You want all you need to support your life.”
