Hagåtña — A meeting of leadership from Adelup, Guam Memorial Hospital and Guam Power Authority took place today to address the power distribution system at the hospital.
“Our island’s only public hospital needs our support. I was grateful to hear that a sister agency, the Guam Power Authority, was willing to assess the panel and the system, and potentially help GMH determine what steps to take next,” Governor Calvo stated.
“This is a fine example of government helping government,” said Board Chairman Eloy Lizama, noting that after all of the accusations and angry comments made regarding the GMH staff and management the call of support is “a very welcome breath of fresh air.”
