On the passing of former Senator Vicente D. Ada,Governor Eddie Baza Calvo has proclaimed a state of mourning for the island of Guam. The former Senator passed away on Aug. 28, 2016. Flags will be flown at half staff until the day of his interment.
 
“Our condolences and our prayers go out to Senator Tony Ada and all of the Ada family on the loss of their father,” Governor Calvo stated.
 
“We ask the people of Guam to join the Governor, First Lady Christine and I, as we pray for the Ada family during this difficult time,” Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio stated.
