Governor Eddie Baza Calvo and First Lady Christine Calvo have cast their votes this morning.
“It’s a beautiful day for an election! I want to encourage everyone to get out and vote today!” Governor Calvo said outside of J.Q. San Miguel Elementary School.
“It’s a pivotal election and, of course, I’d like you to vote Republican, but even more important is that you get out and let your voice be heard.”
There has been a steady stream of voters all morning at polls, which opened at 7 a.m. Polls close at 8 p.m. today and the roads leading to the various polling sites are lined with tents — both Republican and Democrat — loaded with people waving signs, food and music.
