The Department of Revenue and Taxation is officially opening a satellite station for driver’s license processing on December 1.

The satellite station will be located in the Agana Shopping Center on the second floor and directional signs will be posted.

According to DRT Director John Camacho, the implementation of the satellite station will open up eight more processing stations, in addition to the eight stations in DRT to assist more people applying for and renewing their driver’s license.

“The satellite station is a directive by the Governor to relieve the long lines and frustration heard by the people. The Governor instructed us to find a solution that minimizes the waiting time,” DRT Deputy Director Marie Benito said.

Both Camacho And Benito want to thank the people of Guam for their patience and apologizes for the inconvenience.

DRT continues to work towards being Real ID compliant by April 30, 2018.
