Rev & Tax to open satellite locations for FILING OF TAX RETURNS
The Department of Revenue & Taxation will open 2 satellite locations on April 17 & 18:
· Micronesia Mall center court
· Agana Shopping Center’s center court
These satellite locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will only be accepting the filing of tax returns WITHOUT payments and will have extension forms for those who need them. Please note that filing an extension does not extend the time to pay so if you owe taxes you may still be penalized if you don’t make a payment by the April 18 deadline. Taxpayers making payments may visit any of the following 3 Treasurer of Guam locations:
• Department of Revenue and Taxation – Barrigada
• Department of Administration, Treasurer of Guam – 1st Floor, ITC Building
• Department of Public Works – One Stop Center, Upper Tumon
DRT will also have its drop box available near the front entrance of the Department of Revenue & Taxation office in Barrigada for those who wish to file after 5 p.m. Any forms dropped in that box after midnight will be considered filed after the due date. Taxpayers wishing to mail their returns or payments should also insure to have it postmarked by the April 18. All payments should be written to “Treasurer of Guam.”
For your convenience, 1040EZ filers can still file and pay on-line at www.guamtax.com and Form 4868 (Extension for Time to File for Individuals) can be filed and paid on www.payguam.gov.
