NEWS: Tribal Theory to perform at Liberation Festival

Hagåtña – TRIBAL THEORY of San Diego, California has been confirmed to perform at the Liberation Festival this year! They will be closing out Guam’s 74th Liberation Festival on Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd.

**Peter Cruz and Rudy Duenas of the band are both natives of Guam.
The band has received several accolades over the years and are most notable are 2011 champions of VANS Warped Tour Battle of The Bands and winners of Orange County Mai Tai Rumble 2013. As well as, receiving “Best World Music Album of Year 2013” at San Diego Music Awards (SDMA) and returning in 2014 to headline the SDMA.
The Guam Museum invite families down to the “Ha’ånen Familia” or “family day” this Saturday, July 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. Space is limited, so please contact the Guam Museum at 989-4455 to reserve a space or for more information.
FESTIVAL REMINDERS:
HOURS OF OPERATION: This year’s festival will start July 11 and end on July 22. Hours of operation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily with the exception of two nights – on July 20 and July 21 the festival will close at 11 p.m.
In addition to games and rides at Paseo, across the street at Skinner Plaza, festival goers can enjoy music and some of the island’s best food trucks!
The Senator Antonio M. Palomo Guam Museum & Educational Facility is showcasing the permanent exhibit of the history of the island and have extended their hours of operations until 7 p.m.
The Festival will primarily use the Festival Village at Paseo. Regular parking will be utilized for residents.
