Hagåtña, Guam – The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration announces that the Guam Police Department will be hosting a job fair to recruit new police officer trainees. The job fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the Guam Premier Outlets near the entrance facing the former Forever 21. Potential applicants are asked to bring a Guam Driver’s License, and they may also come prepared with a resume or a completed Government of Guam application form.

“We are at a turning point in our history. That is why we invested in critical areas that will create a safe foundation for our families and children to succeed,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “When we prevail over the pandemic, protecting our loved ones from the dangers of crime, violence, and drugs will be key to unlocking our greatest potential. In order to secure this future for our island, we need courageous leaders at the front lines of our community.”

“Governor Leon Guerrero signed an executive order authorizing a substantial pay increase for law enforcement officers not only to recognize the lifesaving and preserving contributions of those securing our safety, but also to incentivize more of our people to help safeguard Guam,” said Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio. “We encourage those with a heart for our island to help keep our community safe and bring a Guam driver’s license and your resume to apply.”
